Die Voortrekkers is a cultural movement that equips its members, especially the youth, to live out their calling through service as modern Afrikaners, positive citizens, and consistent Christians with local branches in South Africa and Namibia. Die Voortrekker-movement was established in 1931. Rietvallei Voortrekkers is a local branch of Die Voortrekkers situated in the Eastern parts of Pretoria. This branch was established on 28 June 1978. To commemorate Rietvallei Voortrekker’s 45 year of existence and to underscore our members’ love for ‘Kampkoffie’ (Coffee made in a huge pot mixed with ludicrous amounts of condensed milk), we will issue each member with a special Thermalmate mug printed on the one side with Die Voortrekker’s logo and on the other Rietvallei Voortrekker’s 45 year logo. This will be part of our special birthday camp which will be held in August 2023.
